SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Co (YCF) is planning to build a 3,000 tonne/year para-aramid project in Jiangsu province, the company announced late on Tuesday.
Financial details of the project were not disclosed.
Preparatory works on the project have started, the company said in a statement.
Para-aramid is a major high-technology fibre, with high-end products used in aerospace and military industry.
