S Korea’s LG Chem buys 25,000 tonnes naphtha for first-half Aug

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought a 25,000 tonne naphtha cargo for delivery in the first half of August, traders said on Wednesday.

The deal for the spot cargo was done at a premium of $1.50-2.00/tonne (€1.16-1.54/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.

LG Chem previously purchased two naphtha cargoes totalling 50,000 tonnes for delivery in the second half of July, at a premium of $0.50-1.00/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
