Czech Unipetrol records €20/tonne rise in June polyolefin margin

LONDON (ICIS)--Unipetrol’s model polyolefin margin rose to €258/tonne ($335/tonne) in June from €238/tonne in May, the Czech petrochemical producer said on Wednesday.

The company’s model olefin margin for June edged up to €376/tonne from €371/tonne in May, it added.

Unipetrol’s model polyolefin and olefin margins in June 2012 were €187/tonne and €444/tonne, respectively.

The company is 63%-owned by the Polish PKN Orlen oil and petrochemicals group.
