SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec and PetroChina have raised their prices for jet kerosene in July by yuan (CNY) 35/tonne ($5.71/tonne) from June levels in response to firming prices in the international markets, sources from the two companies said on Friday.
Effective from 1 July, Sinopec’s jet kerosene offer is at CNY6,776/tonne ex-refinery, while PetroChina’s selling price is at CNY6,746/tonne ex-refinery.
Both offers are made to China National Aviation Fuel (CNAF), which is the largest supplier of jet kerosene to airlines in China.
Under the existing pricing mechanism in China, jet-fuel prices are adjusted on the first day of each month to reflect changes in the benchmark prices in Singapore in the previous month.
