HOUSTON (ICIS)--Jacobs has won a contract to work on Bayer CropScience’s plant expansion in Kwinana, Western Australia, the US-based engineering firm said on Tuesday.

Jacobs said its contract included “early stage engineering” for Bayer CropScience’s formulation plant in Kwinana. It did not disclose financial terms.

After the early stage engineering, Bayer plans to go ahead with the project’s engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) phases, Jacobs added.

Bayer’s Kwinana operation is responsible for the formulation and distribution of “broadacre products” for Western Australia and also supplies South Australia and Victoria.
