SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The Petrochemical Corporation of Singapore (PCS) plans to restart its 450,000 tonne/year No 1 naphtha cracker in Ayer Merbau, Jurong Island, on 11 July following a turnaround which began in early June, a company source said on Wednesday.

The source had earlier said that the cracker would resume operations around mid-July.

PCS also runs a 650,000 tonne/year No 2 naphtha cracker at the same site, which is not scheduled for a turnaround this year.
