SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Global Chemicals (SKGC) is currently operating its No 2 Ulsan-based paraxylene (PX)/orthoxylene (OX) unit at 100% of capacity, a company source said on Friday.

Production at the unit was gradually ramped up after it was restarted in end-June following a 45-day scheduled turnaround from the middle of May, the source added.

The plant can produce up to 450,000 tonnes/year of PX and 100,000 tonnes/year of OX.
