SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Lotte Chemical Corp is operating its 50,000 tonne/year ethanolamines plant at Jiaxin city in China at 80-90% of capacity, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The plant's run rates have been kept stable from last month, he said.

Demand for ethanolamines in China is weakening in tandem with the country’s economic growth while cargo availabilities are quite abundant, the source added.
