SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Chandra Asri will start conducting trial runs at its new 100,000 tonne/year butadiene (BD) unit in Cilegon late this month, a company source said on Wednesday.
“We hope to get on-spec material in two weeks and plan to start commercial production in second-half August,” the source said.
Bulk of the plant's output will be for domestic customers in Indonesia, according to the source.
