SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Sinopec Hainan Petrochemical has further delayed the maintenance shutdown of its 8m tonne/year (160,000 bbl/day) refinery at Yangpu in Hainan province to 6 August because preparatory works have not been completed, a company source said on Friday.
In addition, the turnaround period will be shortened to 36 days from the earlier plan of 50 days in order to achieve its annual production targets.
The company has completed 62.5% of its target in January-July, according to the source.
