S Korea’s Lotte Chemical runs Daesan aromatics unit at 100%

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Lotte Chemical is running its Daesan-based aromatics facility at full capacity after the unit was restarted on 16 July, a company source said on Friday.

The unit was shut on 8 July for catalyst regeneration, the source said.

The facility can produce 360,000 tonnes/year of benzene, 120,000 tonnes/year of toluene and 60,000 tonnes/year of solvent xylene.
