LONDON (ICIS)--Arkema has stopped methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) production at La Chambre, France, for three weeks to carry out routine maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The shutdown at the MIBK unit started on Monday, the source said. The French producer said it has limited MIBK supply as a result of the shutdown.
The nameplate capacity of the facility is 15,000 tonnes/year, according to the ICIS plants and projects database.
