India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for 12-14 August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000-tonne naphtha cargo for loading from New Mangalore on 12-14 August, traders said on Monday.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $24.50/tonne (€18.62/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) and the buyer was trading firm Arcadia, they said.

Previously, MRPL awarded an export tender for a similar-sized naphtha cargo for loading from New Mangalore on 6-8 August, to Chinese trading firm Unipec. The deal for the cargo was done at Middle East quotes FOB pricing plus $27.00/tonne.
