SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Hareon Solar Technology has agreed with Hong-Kong based Mascotte to establish a 300 megawatt (MW) solar cell production facility in Taiwan as well as a solar power project, the China-based polysilicon solar cell maker said on Monday.
The non-legally binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two firms was signed on 19 July, Hareon Solar Technology said in a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Further details of the agreement were not disclosed in the statement.
Mascotte’s core business involves the production of solar-grade polysilicon in Taiwan, while Hareon Solar is a major polysilicon solar cell and component manufacturer in China.
