MOSCOW (ICIS)--Belarus overall production of fertilizers and other chemical products was largely down in January-June, statistics agency Belstat said on Tuesday.
In January-June 2013, the country's total output of mineral fertilizers was down by 4.7% year on year at 3.1m tonnes, according to the agency. Potash production was 4.9% down year on year at 2.6m tonnes, it said.
Ammonia output was 4.1% down year on year at 511,000 tonnes, according to the agency.
Meanwhile, the country's total output of polyethylene (PE) was 0.1% up year on year at 72,300 tonnes, and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) production was 9.6% down year on year at 87,000 tonnes, the agency said.
