SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Four major paraxylene (PX) producers in Asia have nominated their Asian Contract Price (ACP) for August at $1,510-1,540/tonne, industry sources said on Thursday.
On 25 July, South Korea’s S-Oil nominated its August PX ACP at $1,520/tonne CFR Asia, they added.
Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan nominated its August ACP at $1,510/tonne CFR Asia in the afternoon, according to industry sources.
JX Nippon Oil & Energy and ExxonMobil on 24 July nominated their ACP for PX in August at $1,540/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia and $1,520/tonne CFR Asia respectively, the sources said.
The ACP for July PX was settled at $1,410/tonne CFR Asia.
