SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) has sold 25,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha and 24,000 tonnes of light naphtha in the spot market, to oil major Shell, traders said on Thursday.
The deal for the cargoes was done at a premium of around $28/tonne (€21/tonne) to Middle East FOB (free-on-board) quotes, they said.
The loading dates for the full-range naphtha cargo will be on 23-24 August, while the light naphtha cargo is scheduled for loading on 27-28 August, traders said.
Previously, KPC awarded an export tender for 24,000 tonnes of light naphtha, as well as 50,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha, for loading on 14-22 August.
The deal for the cargo was done at Middle East quotes FOB pricing plus $28/tonne.
