S Korea’s LG Chem buys 50,000-75,000 tonnes naphtha for 1H Sept

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought 50,000-75,000 tonnes of naphtha for delivery to Yeosu and Daesan in the first half of September, traders said on Thursday.

The deal for the cargoes was done at Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight) pricing plus $6.50-7.00/tonne (€4.92-5.30/tonne), they added.

LG Chem previously bought a 25,000 tonne naphtha cargo for delivery in the first half of August at a premium of $1.50-2.00/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
