SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Iran’s Kharg Petrochemical has restarted its 660,000 tonne/year natural gas-based methanol plant on 17 July following a 15-day maintenance at the unit, a company source said on Friday.
It is not immediately clear as to what rate the company is running the plant at currently.
Indian traders said they were expecting fresh offers from the plant in August.
Other methanol producers in Iran include Fanavaran and Zagros Petrochemical Co.
