S Korea’s KPX Green Chemical to shut ethanolamines plant in August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s KPX Green Chemical plans to take its 25,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Daesan off line for regular turnaround next month, a company source said on Monday.

The plant is scheduled for maintenance from 12 August to either 17 or 18 August, the source said.

Meanwhile, the plant is running at over 90% of capacity at this juncture, the source said.
