MEDELLIN, Colombia (ICIS)--Brazil’s Chamber of Foreign Trade (Camex) has approved additional anti-dumping duties on imports of passenger car tyres from China for a period of up to five years, the government agency said on Monday.
The duties apply to imports of Chinese-made 65-series and 75-series tyres of radial design, with 13-inch and 14-inch rims and 165, 175 and 185 bands, Camex said.

ANIP argued that a previous anti-dumping duty of $0.75/kilo, in effect since September 2009, was insufficient to protect domestic industry from the practice of dumping.
Tyres are a key end product for styrene butadiene rubber (SBR).
