China’s Shanghai BASF Polyurethane runs MDI unit at full capacity

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China-based Shanghai BASF Polyurethane Co (SBPC) is running its methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) plant at Caojing, Shanghai, at full rates, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

The 160,000 tonne/year MDI splitter plant was taken off line from 16 to 24 June for annual maintenance.
