JX Nippon Oil, ExxonMobil settle August PX ACP at $1,440/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Two major Asian paraxylene (PX) producers have settled their August Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,440/tonne (€1,080/tonne), up by $30/tonne from the previous month’s settlement, market sources said on Wednesday.

JX Nippon Oil & Energy and ExxonMobil have concluded negotiations with their buyers at the price on a cost-and-freight Asia basis, according to their customers.

In July, PX ACP was settled at $1,410/tonne CFR Asia.
