HOUSTON (ICIS)--BASF has completed integrating the products portfolio of recently acquired Becker Underwood as part of BASF Crop Protection, the German-based chemicals major announced on Thursday.

BASF announced in November that it had completed the acquisition of US-based biological seed treatment technology provider Becker Underwood for $1.02bn (€765m).

Products formerly sold under the Becker Underwood brand will continue to be offered, and the combined product portfolio will provide BASF Specialty Products customers with a broader range of solutions.

“Whether it’s turf colorants, wetting agents or beneficial nematodes, we’re excited to bring customers a more robust collection of solutions with the same level of excellent service,” said Jan Buberl, director of BASF Specialty Products. “This integration not only helps evolve the industries in which we work in exciting ways, it also allows us to provide the necessary tools to our customers for continued success.”
