China’s Guanghui Energy starts commercial ops at Jeminey LNG plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Guanghui Energy announced on Tuesday that its 1.5 million cubic metre (mcm)/day liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant at Jeminey in Xinjiang province has started commercial operation this month.

The plant had been on trial operation for over a month, Guanghui Energy said in a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The company expects operation rate at the plant to reach 80% in the second half of September, and to hit above 90% in the fourth quarter.
