Czech Republic chemical output down by 0.8% in June

LONDON (ICIS)--Czech chemical output fell by 0.8% year on year in June, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Tuesday.

Overall industrial production declined by 5.3%, with manufacturing down by 4.5%, it added.

The manufacture of rubber and plastic products decreased by 1.8% year on year in June, the CZSO said.

Mining and quarrying output fell by 21.2% and textile production by 6.9%. The production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers was down 1.5%, while the manufacture of furniture fell by 9.6%.
