LONDON (ICIS)--A leak at an underground naphtha pipeline owned by SABIC in Born, Limburg, in the Netherlands, will not have impact on the company’s petrochemical business, a company source said on Wednesday.
“We currently do not expect any business interruptions, due to the leak in the pipeline,” said the source.
News of the leak came from a local news report. It said the leak was due to be sealed completely on Wednesday and that overnight work had been undertaken. The leak is reported to have occurred on Tuesday.
The local fire department said there was little risk of explosion or ignition.
