S Korea's KPIC plans to shut Onsan cracker and OCU in October

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Korea Petrochemical Industry Co (KPIC) plans to shut its Onsan naphtha cracker and olefins conversion unit (OCU) in early October for about 25 days of maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
The naphtha cracker can yield around 470,000 tonnes/year of ethylene, while the OCU can produce around 110,000 tonnes/year of propylene. Author: Pei Lin Yeow
