LONDON (ICIS)--Dow Chemical plans to close its No.1 cracker at Terneuzen in the Netherlands for repair work in the second half of August, a company source said on Thursday.
The cracker, the smallest of three owned and operated by Dow at the site, will be off line for 10-12 days.
The nature of the repair work was not disclosed.
Dow has the capacity to produce 1.82m tonnes/year of ethylene at the Terneuzen site, according to ICIS data.
