Spolchemie to shut down ECH, epoxy resins plants

LONDON (ICIS)--Spolchemie, a Czech Republic-based epichlorohydrin (ECH) producer, will shut down its epoxy resins and ECH plants for annual maintenance from 16-23 August, a company source said on Tuesday.

According to ICIS data, the ECH plant has an annual nameplate capacity of about 26,000 tonnes, while the epoxy resins plant's capacity is 60,000 tonnes/year.
