SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s second-largest refiner GS Caltex plans to shut its 90,000 bbl/day naphtha splitter in Yeosu in October for a regular maintenance, traders said on Thursday.

The shutdown period will last from 1 October to 25 October, they added.

Along with other cracker in northeast Asia, this upcoming maintenance will lead to lower demand for naphtha, traders said.
