MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia's leading petrochemical producer Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNKh) on Thursday reported lower profit and sales in the first half of this year.
In January to June, NKNKh's net profit amounted to roubles (Rb) 6bn ($137m) or 43% down year on year, the company said.
NKNKh's sales reached Rb59.57bn, or 9% down year on year. It also reported pre-tax profit amounting to Rb7.7bn, 40% down year on year.
NKNKh, based in Tatarstan, Central Russia, is the country's major manufacturer of petrochemical products.
