LONDON (ICIS)--The EU exported 65% less ethylene dichloride (EDC) to the rest of the world in June 2013 than in the same period a year earlier, the latest data by statistics agency Eurostat showed on Monday.

The change could be explained by low downstream polyvinyl chloride (PVC) demand globally. EDC is used for the production of PVC.
