SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s BST Elastomers will be operating its 75,000 tonne/year styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) plant at 100% capacity for the rest of this year, a company source said on Wednesday.

The Thai producer has no plans to shut down its SBR plant for a turnaround this year, as  maintenance for the plant is usually conducted once every two years, the source added.

The SBR plant is located at Map Ta Phut in Rayong province in Thailand.
