India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for 11-13 September

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000-tonne naphtha cargo for loading from New Mangalore on 11-13 September, traders said on Thursday.

The tender was awarded to Chinese trading firm Unipec at a premium of $23.50/tonne  (€17.63/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.

In its previous tender, MRPL sold a similar-sized naphtha cargo to Unipec, for loading from New Mangalore on 2-4 September.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $27.50/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB.
