LONDON (ICIS)--Italian petrochemicals producer Versalis’ Priolo cracker remains at reduced operating rates and this is likely to continue during planned maintenance work, which is due to start at the end of August, a company source said on Thursday.
The planned maintenance is expected to last for around two months.
The company source, however, declined to comment on the status of the force majeure on ethylene and propylene which was put in place at the Priolo cracker on 17 July. The force majeure resulted from output cracker restrictions for technical reasons.
