SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yanshan Petrochemical plans to shut down its PP and PE plants in Beijing province on 27 August, a company source said on Friday.
The PE plants include three 60,000 tonne/year low-density polyethylene (LDPE) units, one 200,000 tonne/year LDPE plant, and two 70,000 tonne/year high-density polyethylene (HDPE) units. The PP plants include two 200,000/tonne year polypropylene (PP) units and a 40,000/tonne year PP unit according to the source.
The shutdown is expected to last seven days, the source added.
