LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Monday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.
CRUDE: October WTI: $106.45/bbl, up 3 cents/bbl. October BRENT: $110.82/bbl, down 22 cents/bbl
BENZENE: $1,295-1,315/tonne, up $10-15/tonne
September opened the week firmer, in line with gains seen in both Asia and the US.
STYRENE: $1,840-1,850/tonne, down $30/tonne on the sell side
Numbers were still bullish this morning with offers for September at $1,850/tonne but no firm corresponding bids. October was backwardated at $1,710-1,760/tonne, the range widening amid divergent views of the market.
