SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) on Monday restarted its 250,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Map Ta Phut in Thailand after shutting it last week for maintenance, a source close to the company said.
The plant, operated by its wholly owned subsidiary Bangkok Polyethylene, was shut for some minor maintenance work, the source said.
Meanwhile, Bangkok Polyethylene’s other HDPE plant at the same site with a 250,000 tonne/year capacity was running at 100% of capacity, he said.
PTTGC’s HDPE plant at the same site with a 300,000 tonne/year capacity was also running at 100%, he added.
