HOUSTON (ICIS)--CITGO Petroleum restarted one of the diesel hydrotreater units at its Lemont refinery in Illinois after it was shut for unplanned maintenance, a CITGO official said on Tuesday.
The unit at the 174,500 bbl/day refinery was returned to service early Monday after it was shut on Friday because of equipment failure, according to a notice filed with the US National Response Center.
There was no impact on overall production, the company official said.
CITGO Petroleum is a US refining subsidiary of Venezuela’s national oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA).
