Taiwan’s FPCC to turn around BD unit in September for 45 days

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) will shut its 160,000 tonne/year butadiene (BD) unit at its 1.03 m tonne/year No 2 cracker for 45 days from 16 September, a company source said on Wednesday.

The No 2 cracker will shut at the same time for maintenance, the source added.

FPCC has three BD units, with a total capacity of 450,00 tonnes/year at its three crackers at Mailiao in Taiwan.
