SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Wuhan Petrochemical has produced on-spec butadiene (BD) at its new 120,000 tonne/year BD unit in Hubei province, industry sources said.
Wuhan Petrochemical began operations at its BD unit in mid-August, after its 800,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker was started up on 13 August.
Wuhan Petrochemical is a joint venture between Sinopec and South Korea’s SK Group.
