HOUSTON (ICIS)--BASF has selected Archway Sales as its national distributor for polyurethane chemicals to the coatings, adhesives & binders, sealants and elastomers (CASE) market, effective 1 January, the US-based chemicals producer announced on Thursday.
Archway currently represents the BASF polyurethane chemical line throughout the Midwest, parts of the Great Lakes and southeast, as well as throughout the northeast.
BASF produces Lupranate aromatic methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanates (MDI) and toluene di-isocyanates (TDI), Pluracol polyether and graft copolymer polyols for the CASE industry, which can be formulated to create a variety of specialty products.
The company has world-scale production facilities in Geismar, Louisiana, enabling it to have a strong presence in the CASE market through direct and distribution sales channels, it added.
