SINGAPORE (ICIS)-Taiwan’s Oriental Union Chemical Corp (OUCC) restarted one of its two ethanolamines units in Kaohsiung at the end of August, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The plant’s run rates were not immediately available, the source said.

OUCC operates two 40,000 tonne/year ethanolamines units at the site.

The plant was taken off line on 13 May while the other unit has been kept idle.
