Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals shuts Kerteh ethanolamines plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group (PCG) shut its 75,000 tonne/year ethanolamines unit in Kerteh, Terengganu, on 1 September for regular maintenance, market sources said on Wednesday.

The shutdown of the ethanolamines plant took place as scheduled, they added.

The turnaround is expected to last until the end of October, sources said.
