SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Guangdong IVL PET Polymer restarted its 300,000 tonne/year polyester unit on 5 September in Guangdong province after completing its maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.
The unit was shut on 1 September for a renewal of its parts, the source said.
The major product of this unit is bottle polyethylene terephthalate (PET) chips, according to the source.
The unit is expected to produce on-spec product on 6 September, and the company plans to run the unit at 100% capacity, the source added.
