Taiwan’s FPCC seeks second-half October naphtha supply

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) is seeking via tender naphtha supplies for delivery to Mailiao in the second half of October, said a trader familiar with the tender on Thursday.

The tender closes later on 5 September, the trader added.

In its previous tender, FPCC bought around 100,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery into Mailiao in the first half of October.

The deals for the cargoes were done at discount levels of $3.00/tonne (€2.30/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight) pricing. ($1 = €0.76)
