India’s ONGC sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for early October

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indian state-owned refiner Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from Hazira on 1-2 October, traders said on Thursday.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $23.00/tonne (€17.50/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) pricing, they added.

The buyer was Chinese trading firm Unipec, the traders said.

In its previous tender, ONGC sold a similar-sized cargo, for loading from Hazira, to Unipec at a premium of $26/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB pricing.

The cargo was scheduled for loading on 18-19 September.
