India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for early October loading

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from New Mangalore on 1-3 October, traders said on Thursday.

Japanese trading firm Idemitsu bought the cargo at a premium of $26/tonne (€20/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) pricing, they added.

MRPL previously sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from New Mangalore, to PetroDiamond.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $27/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB for loading on 16-18 September.
