SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China-based Inner Mongolia Yili Chemical is running its 500,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) unit at Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, at full rate after restarting it on 8 September, a company source said on Monday.
The unit was shut for 13 days of maintenance, the source added.
PVC prices offered by the producer are at yuan (CNY) 6,600/tonne ($1,078/tonne) EXW (ex-works) on 9 September, down by CNY 100/tonne compared with prices at CNY 6,700/tonne before the plant shutdown, according to Chemease, an ICIS Service in China.
